The history of Minerva Sandali born from a three generation passion: the passion tailored handcrafted shoes
The passion for handcrafted shoes is inherited from my great-grandfather Giovanni, a shoe-maker of Val di Non. During the war he created and manufactured mountain shoes and boots. The passion for high-quality footwear has been evident from the beginning, with a great need on the shoes I wore and I wanted to wear.
After graduation I got hooked oh handcrafted man shoes. I went to a school for cutting and knowledge of leathers and I learnt the work of cobbler from expert craftsmen. I worked side by side with my father, with which I share this passion i share this passion and with which I began to realized handmade man shoes.
In 2017 I worked in an important company that produces and sells sandals Capri/ Positano style, and I get into these footwear, made famous by actress as Sophia Loren and Audrey Hepburn. I worked all around Italy, but now I came back in my hometown, Rome. My sandals are exposed in my workshop window in Via del Clementino 95b.
